I'm a PHP and JavaScript website developer with over 10 years of experience working with the latest frameworks, such as Laravel and ReactJS. I also work with many CMS's such as WordPress and focus on building clean websites from the ground up.
I have worked with many frameworks over the years, such as Laravel and Yii.
Working with frameworks such as Laravel allows me to build anything from the ground up, exactly to the specifications of the client.
Laravel is my first choice for any larger scale custom development as it's easy to work with, has great performance and has a huge following. Laravel is the most popular MVC based framework for a reason!
Anyone with enough time on their hands can cobble together a website on WordPress with enough plugins and a theme.
Coming from a programmer background though I can build things from scratch with a completely custom design. This opens up more possibilities and produces a more professional end result.
WordPress is an increadibly flexible platform and when done right it can produce some great results.
JavaScript is a minefield of a language with many new technologies and frameworks coming out.
I have experience with the main current frameworks, Angular, VueJS and React so can tackle modern JavaScript projects as well as older vanilla JavaScript or jQuery projects.
